INDEPENDENT WORK AS A PART OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS IN HIGHER EDUCATION

One of the main objectives of the educational process at Institutions of Higher learning is to teach students to work independently and do their tasks. The main objective of higher education is to form professional creative person, capable of self-development, self-education, innovation, so there is a need to strengthen the role of independent work of students, which facilitate formation of the student capacity for self-development and creative application of knowledge, ways of adapting to the professional activity today. Independent work is built taking into account the curriculum and training programs for the study of certain subjects, and interests of the student and required knowledge. Independent work mostly serves almost the only way to independent education of students in acquiring knowledge. Autonomy in acquiring the knowledge evident only through its own activities, with the advent of domestic demand in knowledge, cognitive interest, enthusiasm. In this sense, it is impossible to learn independently. Such independence can only be in the form of education and training.
Organization of independent work of students on the basis of the conceptual approach provides opportunities for personal involvement of students to master the professional activity and forms professionally important qualities: responsibility, creativity, information culture, the capacity for self-education. Its performance is provided by a combination of different forms of educational activities in terms of developing the educational environment of higher education.
